Dr. J. Michael Mcpherson

Dr. J. Michael McPherson, age 60 of Ocala, Florida, died unexpectedly at his home on Monday, January 31, 2011.He was born in Toccoa, Georgia and moved to Ocala in 1996 from Stuart, Florida.In 1972, he completed his under graduate studies at University of Georgia, then in 1981, completed his Doctorate Degree at Life Chiropratic College of Marrietta, Georgia.He has been associated with Pitts Chiropractic Clinic of Ocala, Florida since 1996.He attended both Meadowbrook Church as well as The Sancturary Church.Dr. McPherson loved both his work and his patients, loved his travels to Jamaica; the sun and outhdoors, playing and watching both tennis and golf; good southern food, but most of all he loved spending quality time with his loving family.He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Linda B. McPherson of Ocala, Fl.; his son, Joshua and wife Sarah Brown of Ocala, Fl.; his 3 loving daughters, Kathryn and husband Chris Gabel and Sara McPherson, both of Ocala, Fl. and Kristina Brown of Atlanta, GA,; also his 5 loving grandchildren, Logan, Katelyn, Noah, Ashlyn and Madelyn. A celebration of life service was held on Friday, February 4, 2011 at Roberts Funeral Home,Ocala, Florida. Internment will be held 11:30 am in Powder Springs Memorial Gardens on Saturday, February 19, 2011 and will be handled by Roy Davis Funeral Home, Austell, GA
