Dorothy Maxine Cooke

Dorothy Maxine Cooke, 93 of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Sunday, May 7, 2023. She was born in Douglasville, Ga to the late Leonard and Ruby Weathington in March of 1930.

Dorothy enjoyed cooking, working word puzzles, reading and spending time with her family. She was a member at New Harvest Baptist Church.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Dennis (Penni) Cooke, Susan (Randy) Smallwood, Jackie Williams, and she has 7 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren, as well as her brother-n-law Thomas Gable, and several more family and friends.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years Robert Cooke, her siblings, Nerene Mayfield, Katherine Heaton, Leonard Weathington, Ray Weathington, Roy Weathington, and Estelle Gable.
