Donald Lee Holcomb

Donald Lee Holcomb, age 85, passed away Monday, August 28, 2023.  He was born in Atlanta, Georgia, on April 11, 1938 to the late Harold and Louise Holcomb; he was the second of their five children.

A lifelong bachelor, Donald spent his career at Life of Georgia Insurance Company in their computer department.  After retirement his main pleasures included fishing, gardening, walking the Silver Comet Trail, and enjoying a beer with his friend Ken holding court in their lawn chairs in the front yard of Donald’s Austell home.

Donald is preceded in death by his parents Harold and Louise Holcomb; sisters Patricia Goodman and Pamela Beall; and nephew Eric Holcomb.

Donald’s survivors include: brothers Roland Holcomb (and wife Connie), and Harold Holcomb, Jr. (and wife Dee); nephews Donnie Goodman and Jimmy Beall (and wife Kelly), Blake Holcomb (and wife Mandy) and Bradley Holcomb (and wife Holly); niece Lisa Rassoulian (and husband Mack); grand-nephews Murphy Holcomb, Aiden Holcomb, Keegan Rassoulian, and Brycen Holcomb; and grand-nieces Marissa Smith, Ashleigh Coward, and Thalia Craven.

Donald will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
