Donald Gilbert Hester

Mr. Donald Gilbert Hester, age 80, of Winston, Georgia passed away on June 11, 2017.Mr. Hester was born in Smyrna, Georgia to Gilbert & LeeDue Hester.In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, tinkering, being a shade-tree mechanic, yard sales and was a member of the Moose Lodge.Mr. Hester is preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife, Billie Faye Hester.He leaves to cherish his loving memory, a daughter, Lisa (Kevin) Jones, son, Chad (Jenna) Hester; eight grandchildren, Stephenie Price, Matthew Durell, Robert Durell, Jeremy Durell, Alexis Jones, Kevin Jones, Mae Ray, Judd Ray, and soon to arrive, Hudson Hester; eleven great-grandchildren; devoted friend, Margie Chaffin; and his beloved dog, “Bear”. The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, June 15, 2017 from 5:30pm – 8:00pm at the Roy Davis Funeral Home in Austell.Funeral Service will be Friday, June 16, 2017 at 1:00pm in the Chapel of the Roy Davis Funeral Home.Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Douglasville.
