Dolores Ann Connors

Ann Connors Passes on May 10, 2013 Dolores Ann Connors, age 82 of Dallas, GA, formerly of Marietta, passed away on May 10, 2013 at WellStar Paulding Nursing Unit.She had been a resident there since October 2005. Ms. Connors entered nurse’s training at Piedmont Hospital School of Nursing in 1954.She worked for Dr. Robert L. Bunnen in Atlanta for 15 years, WellStar Paulding Hospital, Medical Arts Hospital in Dallas, WellStar Paulding Nursing Unit, and various other nursing facilities. She was a member of Olive Springs Baptist Church in Marietta, and a member of the Sweet Spirit Singers. Survivors include her daughter, Cindy Atcheson, granddaughter Stephanie Strickland, grandson Josh Atcheson, and great-granddaughter Macey Strickland, all of Dallas, GA, and two nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Sally Chambers, and a brother, Faine Chambers. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Olive Springs Baptist Church, 1528 Austell Road SE, Marietta, GA30008, with Rev. John Darnell officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
