Deloris Marie Liley

Deloris M. “Bunny” Liley, age 71 of Powder Springs, died Saturday, January 24, 2009.She is survived by her husband, Roy K. Liley Sr.; children, William Lloyd Nance of Woodstock, Donald Ray Nance of Temple, Roy K. Liley Jr. of Dallas, Carla Winn Rich of Cajamarca Peru, South America, brothers, Gerald P. Thompson, Kenneth Thompson both of Florida; grandchildren, Joshua Liley, Catherine Liley, Shawn Rich, Christa Rich, Heather Nance, Jessica Nance, Donald Nance Jr.; great grandchildren, Blake Smith, Justin Smith, and Jaden Nance.She is preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Kenneth and Mrs. Catherine Thompson and her brother, John L. Thompson. Mrs. Liley was a member of Macland Presbyterian Church, a member of the Red Hat Society and retired as a bus driver after 27 years of service with the Cobb County SchoolSystem. The family will receive friends Sunday from 5 pm until 7:30 pm at the funeral home.A memorial service will follow the visitation at 7:30 until 8:00 pm at Roy Davis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ray Jones and Rev. Donald Rich officiating.In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in her memory to The American Cancer Society.
