Her granddaughters, Maia and Blythe, were the light of her life, bringing endless joy and laughter to her days. Additionally, her sister Donna shared a deep bond of sisterhood that was unbreakable and filled with devotion. Donna and her husband Tom cared for Deborah during her final years and showed unwavering friendship.

Born to Merlin and Virginia Freeman, Deborah grew up in Mableton, Georgia in a household filled with love and values that shaped the compassionate and caring person she became. She was a dedicated wife to her late husband, Mike Kelly, who preceded her in death. Together, they built a life filled with shared dreams.

Deborah's love for her family knew no bounds, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Whether it was a family gathering, a holiday celebration, or a quiet day at home, Deborah found joy in the company of those she held dear. There are many unforgettable memories, especially the yearly Easter egg hunts, family meals with abundant laughter, and her prized artichoke dip that everyone loved. She is survived by her son Michael (Stacey) Kelly, sister Donna (Tom) Zavoral, and granddaughters Blythe Kelly and Maia (Chris) Ashwood and family.

At the heart of Deborah's life was her long-time partner, Terry Mitchell. Together, they created a home filled with warmth, love, and shared experiences. Buckhead, Georgia, became the backdrop for countless memories as Deborah and Terry built a life centered around family, friendship, and the simple joys of everyday living.

Professionally, Deborah found success as a real estate agent, demonstrating a remarkable talent for connecting people. Her passion for the industry and commitment to excellence earned her the respect and admiration of close friends, colleagues, and clients alike.
