David Goss Thomas Jr., age 63 of Mableton died Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at the Atlanta VA Medical Center.He is survived by his sons, Darrell Lee Thomas and David Goss Thomas III; daughter, Christine Renee Thomas Knott (husband Trevor Knott); mother, Katherine Lavon Thomas; brothers, Paul Lance Thomas and Cody Madison Thomas; grandchildren, Ashley Marie Knott, Sienna Taylor Knott, Ian William Knott. A United State Air Force Veteran, David Thomas Jr. will be interred at the Georgia National Cemetery on Monday, May 19, 2014 at 12:30 pm with military honors.The family will have a celebration of his life service on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Roy Davis Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 pm.
