Darrell Queen

Melvin Darrell Queen, 60 of Cartersville, passed away October 12, 2017.He is survived by his daughters Priscilla and husband Dan Newman of Villa Rica, Sylvia and husband Terry McBurnett of Dallas, GA, Amanda Queen Perkins of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; sister, Theresa Griggs of Spring Hill, TN, brother Hugh Queen of Stockbridge, GA; grandchildren Urijah, Jackson, Eliora, Brayden; and his niece who was like a daughter Crystal and husband Cedric Ogletree of Powder Springs as well as many other loving nieces and nephews. Darrell enjoyed tinkering with his lawnmower and cars, playing his guitar and always approached life with a big heart. Funeral Service 2:00 pm Saturday, October 2017 at Roy Davis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Stephens officiating; interment Riverview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 am Saturday until time of service Saturday.
