Darrell Alan Emmett

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Darrell Alan Emmett, a beloved partner, father, brother, grandfather, and friend. Darrell passed away on Tuesday, March 11th, 2025, at the age of 62, in Marietta, Georgia.
Born on Friday, July 20th, 1962, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Darrell was the cherished son of the late George Herman Emmett and Barbara Emmett. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Ashley Caldwell.

Darrell spent his professional life as a dedicated traffic light technician with Cobb County Department of Transportation, where he was known for his hard work and commitment to ensuring the safety of his community.
Darrell is survived by his loving partner of 20 years, Pam Flowers, who stood by his side through life's many adventures. He leaves behind his daughter, Andrea Patterson, and his brother, Derek Emmett. Darrell was a proud grandfather to Levi and Kylie Caldwell, who brought immense joy to his life. He will also be dearly missed by several other family members and friends who were touched by his kindness and warmth.

Beyond his professional life, Darrell had a passion for music. He found great joy in playing the guitar and jamming with his friends, creating memories that will be cherished by all who knew him. He was a Braves fan and enjoyed watching the games. He also loved NASCAR especially  #9 Chase Elliott.

Arrangements for Darrell's memorial have been entrusted to Roy Davis Funeral Home. As we gather to celebrate his life, we remember Darrell as a man of integrity, humor, and love, whose presence will be deeply missed but fondly remembered.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to help with the financial burden his sudden passing has accrued.
