Clarece Dennard Hunt, age 89, of Mableton, GA died October 11, 2012 at Tranquility Hospice in Austell.Born 1922, in Wilcox Co. GA, daughter of Alice Rycroft Dennard and John B. Dennard, much of her life was lived in Perry, GA where her children were reared.Her later years were spent in Pineview and Cobb Co. GA.She is survived by her son, Thomas “Tom/Boot” Hunt (Karen) of Marietta/Pineview; daughter, Alice (Frank) Ramsdell of Mableton; daughter-in-law, Lisa Betancourt Hunt of Navarre, FL; sister, Nell Barton of Perry; beloved friend, Frank J. McKinney of Pineview; 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Hunt is preceded in death by husbands, Hewlett James Hunt and Clifford Lee Hunt; son, Robert L.“Pete/Bob” Hunt Sr.; sisters, Palmer Jordan, Amanda Cummings and Charlotte Bridges. Dedicated Christian, devoted wife and mother, mentor to many, Mrs. Hunt was known for her hospitality and generosity.She especially loved the study of history and writing poetry.Her poem, “Beloved Georgia” was presented to the Midway Museum in Liberty Co. GA with a reading in 2006.A particular joy to her was a trip to France in1992 with Tom and Karen.
