Claire Smith

Claire Elizabeth Smith of Marietta, Georgia passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2023. She was born in Atlanta to the late Lillian Archer Reynolds and the late Dan Reynolds, Sr.

Claire worked for Sprint and T-Mobile where she recently retired after 27 years. She was looking forward to gardening and travel. She had planned trips to the beach and she wanted to take her granddaughter to Paris. Claire was a kindhearted woman who had a true compassion for animals, especially dogs. She made so many contributions to the welfare of animals, she was eligible to file it on her taxes as a non-profit. She was an avid animal rescuer, advocate and sponsor. Claire was always willing to help anyone who needed it. She enjoyed being with her family who loved her deeply. She will be missed.

Claire is survived by her loving daughters, Stephanie (Eric Larsen) Smith, Staci (Steve) French, her granddaughter, Marleigh French, her twin sister, Camille Reynolds, her niece, Ashley Hardeman, and Ashley’s children, Ethan, Layla, Kaleb and Miles.

Claire was preceded in death by her brother, Dan “Danny” Reynolds.
