Charlotte Faye Askea

Charlotte Faye Askea, age 84, of Acworth, Georgia went to be with The Lord on Saturday, December 9, 2023. She attended West Fulton HIgh School Class of 1957.  She was a lifetime member of Riverside Church of God.

Mrs. Askea was born on January 3, 1939 in Lafayette, Georgia and raised in Atlanta, Georgia by her parents, the late Clarence Franklin Strickland, Sr. and the late Lucille Brock Strickland. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Clarence Franklin Strickland, Jr.; sister, Vera Frances Edgeman.

Survivors include her sons, Donald L. Askea, Jr. and his significant other, Margaret Ann Cates, of Smyrna; Jonathan David Askea, of Acworth; daughter, Patricia Elizabeth Askea, of Acworth; father of her children, Donald L. Askea, Sr.; grandchildren, Jonathan David Askea, Jr., of Smyrna; Jeremiah Thomas Casey, of Newnan; Kaeli Collins Askea, of New York; great-grandchildren, Kale Casey, Caden Casey, Lily Askea; sisters, Bobbie J. Barnett, of Florida; Judy S. German, of Tennessee; Betty Miller, of Austell; Mary Weaver, of South Georgia; numerous nieces and nephews as well.

Mrs. Askea's wishes were to be cremated and no memorial services are planned at this time.
