Charles Darrell Jones

Charles Darrell Jones 83 of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2023. He was born in Lakeland, Georgia to the late RC and Juanita Jones on January 30, 1940.

Charles was a member at Liberty Baptist Church in Douglasville, he retired from the Cobb County School System after 20 years of service. He enjoyed gospel singing and he loved the Lord.

Charles is survived by his children; Steve and his wife Stephanie Jones, Sheila and her husband Greg Duskin, and Ricky Byrd. He has 9 grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 40+ years Margaret Ann Jones. His siblings Ronald Jones, Donald Jones, Jenny McLendon, and Hazel Jones, and a stepson Ray Byrd.
