Charles Lyall Jackson, 36, of Mableton, Georgia passed away Saturday, June 22, 2024. He was born in Lithia Springs, Georgia to Nancy Doan and the late Scott Jackson on June 1, 1988.
Charles was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He is a graduate of Campbell High School in Smyrna, and was a lifelong resident of Cobb County. Charles loved life and lived it to the fullest, always seeking adventure. Charles could light up a room with his smile and brought joy and laughter to everyone he met. He never knew a stranger. He loved his family, and although they lived a distance away, he loved the time he was able to spend with his niece and nephew. Charles loved the Lord, and we find comfort in knowing that he rests in the arms of Jesus and that we will see him again. He was loved by all that knew him, and he will be missed beyond measure.
Charles is survived by his mom Nancy (John) Doan of Spring Hill, Florida, his sister Amanda (Sean) La Hue of San Antonio, Texas, his stepmother Stacey Jackson of Mableton, Georgia, stepsiblings Tisa and Torry Howard, nieces and nephew Ava and Jackson La Hue and Gabriella La Hue, and numerous other family and friends.
Charles is preceded in death by his father, Mansel Scott Jackson; grandparents, Virginia and Charles Jackson, and Molly and Lyall Rosenfield; a nephew, Michael La Hue, and an uncle Charles Virgil Jackson Jr.
