Charles Avery Dills, age 83 of Mableton, died Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family.He is survived by his wife, Sarah Jane Dills; sons, Tony Dills of Cave Springs, Michael Dills of Acworth, Karl Dills of Acworth, Hunter Dills of Mableton, Tommy Sanders of Austell, Paul Sanders of Winder; daughters, Karlene Dittrich of Woodstock, Becky Hippensteel of Acworth, Renee Burge of Austell; 16 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; 1 niece and 2 nephews. A retired Military Aircraft Mechanic he served in the United States Air Force.Funeral Service will be held 2:00 pm, Sunday, November 5, 2017 with Rev. Tommy Young and Rev. Steve Jones officiating; interment, Riverview Cemetery, Smyrna.The family will receive friends on Saturday from 5 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home.
