On Sunday, January 7, 2018, Essie Charlene Bruns, died at her home in Lithia Springs, surrounded by her loving family.She was born on January 22, 1936 to the late Edward Henry Davis and Donnie Inez Smith Davis in Douglasville, Georgia.She was 81 and just shy of her 82nd birthday.She is survived by her sons: Robert "Stan" Bruns (wife, Nancy Bruns) of Marietta, Richard Bruns (wife, Glenda Bruns) of Hiram and Mark Bruns of Lithia Springs; brother, Guy Edward Davis of Mission, Texas; 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held 2:00 pm, Wednesday, January 10th, 2018 at Roy Davis Funeral Home Chapel, interment, Melrose Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.The family will receive friends Wednesday one hour prior to the funeral service.
