Bobby Earl Samples

Bobby Earl Samples, Jr., 65 of Senoia, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2019. He was born in Atlanta on September 28, 1953, the son of Bobby Earl Samples, Sr., and Ruth Jane Brookshire Samples. He is survived by his daughters, Mariya Elaine Samples, Stephany Ann Samples and Martha J. Walden; brothers, Joe, Rusty and David; sisters, Patricia, Cricket, Linda, Charlotte and Peanut; grandchildren, James, Jenna, Heather, Teasa, Nevaeh, Brandy, Amber, Lee and Hunter; great grandchildren, Joey, Payten, Charlie and Emmerson; and many other children that he helped raise! He was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby, Sr., and Ruth; and his beloved wife, Dora Elaine Samples. Mr. Samples was a wonderful father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was known for his willingness to help everyone and welcomed anyone that needed a place to stay. He worked at a dump truck driver for Samples Trucking. The family will receive friends from 12-4 pm Saturday, May 11, at Roy Davis Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please make donations toward his services.
