Bobby Carl Harris

Bobby Carl Harris, age 73 of Lithia Springs died Saturday, October 15, 2011 at Tranquility Hospice.He is survived byhis loving wife of 33 years, Marsha Diane Henderson Harris; daughter, Pam and husband Ralph Edwards of Douglasville; son, Scott Astin and wife Pam of Powder Springs; brother, Lamar Harris and wife Joyce of Mableton; 2 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his son, Carl Waites in 2003. He was born on October 12, 1938 to the late Carl L. Harris and Winnie Mae Landmond Harris in Atlanta, Georgia. He was a member of Austell First Baptist Church for many years.A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at 2:00 PM, Roy Davis Funeral Home with Rev. Frank Whitmire officiating.The family will receive friends the week of October 17th at the home of his daughter, Pam Edwards.On the day of the service, the family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 noon until time of service.In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to be made in his memory to Austell First Baptist Church.
