Betty Ann Hughes

“Betty Ann Hughes, age 83, passed away Sunday, December 27, 2020 in Cookeville, Tennessee. Betty Ann was born January 25, 1937 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Mr. & Mrs. C.W. and Irene Whitehead. Betty loved God and her family fiercely and was a natural caretaker who always put others first. She had many talents that included sewing, baking and could turn anything into a home cooked meal. Throughout her life she enjoyed attending church, bowling, bingo, shopping, Christmas time, her dog Fancy, spending time with her family and rocking on her front porch or spending time in her sunroom. Mrs. Betty is survived by her children; Shelia (Danny) Stewart, Michael (Tonya) Patterson, Shane (Jamie) Patterson, and Keith (Angie) Hughes. Grandchildren; Eric Stewart, Michael Patterson, Kate Patterson, Kelsey Patterson, Kylie Patterson, Cameron (Alexis) Hughes, and Harrison Hughes. One Great-grandchild, Sterling Hughes. Siblings; Debbie “Johnny” Bragg, and Jimmy Whitehead. The family will be holding a graveside service for Mrs. Betty on Monday, January 4, 2021 at 11:00 A.M., at Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery in Marietta, Georgia.
