Betty Mae Cates Allgood, 84 years of age, died Tuesday, December 20.Memorial service to be held Tuesday Dec. 27, 2016, with visitation from 3pm-3:45pm and the service at 4:00 pm at First Christian Church of Fairburn. Betty was preceded in death by her husband Edwin. She leaves behind Son Michael Allgood (Lou), Daughter Laura Hall (Lee), 4 Granddaughters Maria Keith (Greg), Kayla Herron (Jason), Kara Sutton (Matt), Kaycee Hall (Jason), 5 great grandchildren, Luke, Hunter, Ryan, Cooper and Cheyenne. Brother James “Doc” Cates (Sara) and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of Southwest Christian Church and First Christian Church of Fairburn. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to First Christian Church of Fairburn.
