Bessie Mae Shuler

Bessie Mae Shuler, 82 of Tallapoosa, passed away Thursday, December 2, 2021. She is survived by her children, Carolyn Cleveland, Teresa Heverin, Tammy Shuler, Justin Shuler, Joseph Shuler and Linda Garrett; sisters, Harriett Pope and Essie Joe Hurlbert, 15 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 21 years, George Shuler; daughter, Kathy Cheek, and six siblings. Mrs. Shuler loved playing the piano and singing. She had a green thumb and enjoyed growing flowers and plants. She was a loving mother and grandmother and was happy anytime she was with her family. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her. The family will receive friends from 11 am to 2 pm, Monday, December 6, at Roy Davis Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 pm at Powder Springs Memorial Gardens.
