Bernice Kelly

Bernice Kelly age 85, of Powder Springs, passed away December 27, 2022. She is survived by her daughters, Laura and Marilyn; sister, Faye Pruitt and grandchildren, Tommy, Bridget, Brooke and Alec. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Bertie; daughter, Suzanne; seven brothers; two sisters and her two dogs, Katie (20 years old) and Sassy (19 years old). Ms. Bernice was an extremely independent woman who raised and supported her family while working full time. In her younger years, she took classes at Georgia State University and spent some time living in New York. She was an amazing cook, loved the beach and was the best pet owner to her cat, Himey, who misses her dearly.

The family will hold a private celebration of life at a later date.
