Avalean Archer

Avalean Archer, 92 of Powder Springs, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2019. Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 27 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Roy Davis Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Young officiating. Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Archer was a loving mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Austell. She was a big Braves fan and went to her last game this summer. Survivors include her children, Jimmy (Pam) Archer of Powder Springs, Barbara (Jeff) Kasian of Smyrna, Donna (Jeff) Hall of Douglasville and Kenneth Archer of Temple; grandchildren, Brandon Archer, Craig Archer, Jesse Archer, Amelia Archer, Joseph Archer and Tessa Graziano, and brother, Russell (Frances) Calhoun of Carrollton. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, James S. Archer, in 2007. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, October 26, from 4 to 6 pm.
