Arthur "Rocky" Ross

Arthur "Rocky" Ross Jr, age 83, of Mableton, GA, passed away on Friday, August 16th, 2024. He was born on Wednesday, July 16th, 1941, in Louisiana to the late Arthur Dee Ross Sr and Latisha Ross. Rocky is survived by his daughter Tori Cash, and his two grandchildren Emma Cash and Rocco Cash, his loving partner of 25 years, Annette Ferguson, her daughter Michelle Ables and her grandchildren; CJ, Chad, and Samantha” He is also survived by his siblings Kyla Payne and Steve Ross. Rocky proudly served in the Marines from 1961-1964, reaching the rank of Corporal 2nd Battalion, 8th Marines, H Company and then later went into business for himself. He was known as a wonderful and generous man, who was smart and had a love for fishing, hunting, traveling, and camping. He also achieved a Bachelor Degree in Business from Georgia State University. He was preceded in death by his father Arthur Dee Ross Sr, his mother Latisha, and his sister Deanna Ross. A memorial service will be held at Brownwood Baptist Church in Mableton, Ga on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 1:00pm to honor and celebrate the life of Arthur "Rocky" Ross Jr. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
