A.L. Glenn

A.L. Glenn, 74 of Austell, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2020. He was born June 28, 1945, in Fort Payne, Alabama, the son of Afton Leslie and Hazel Genett Glenn. He is survived by the love of his life for 40 years, Brenda Glenn; sons Ted Glenn and Jimmy Glenn, both of LaFayette, Georgia; stepsons Bobby Lee Parris and Clint Parris, both of Temple; sisters Merita Brown of Douglasville and Sadie Murphy of Rossville; brother Austin Liles of Rock Springs, Georgia; 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Mr. Glenn was known throughout the Atlanta area as a good, dependable mechanic. He and his wife were the owners of A & B Starter and Alternator in Clarkdale. Before that he worked at Clarkdale Starter and Generator. He enjoyed fishing anytime he could. Mr. Glenn was cremated according to his wishes. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
